Use of the sauna's Nordic bath

During your stay, you'll have exclusive access to our SPA terrace, equipped with a Nordic bath (hot), a panoramic sauna, a shower and a cold-water bucket with rocker. These facilities are accessible all year round, 24 hours a day (except for cleaning/maintenance cycles).

The following rules must be observed:

  • Access is strictly reserved for residents of Le Coupet.
  • Children under 16 are not allowed on the spa terrace if their parents are not present.
  • A soapy shower is mandatory before using the sauna or Nordic bath.
  • No GLASS containers, drinks or food are allowed in the SPA area. In the event of any breach of this rule, access to the spa and sauna will be denied for the remainder of the stay, and a minimum of 100 euros will be deducted from the deposit.
  • Nordic bath in red cedar wood
    • Maximum capacity = 6 people
    • Between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m., the Nordic bath automatically activates an ozone cleaning cycle approximately every 3 hours (duration 30 minutes, last cycle before 8 p.m.). During this cycle, swimming is strictly forbidden (health hazard) and an audible alarm signals the washing cycle. Get out of the bath if the audible alarm goes off. Once the alarm has gone off, you can use the bath again.
    • For safety reasons and to maintain bath temperature, the Nordic bath cover must always be replaced on the bath (wood side up, plastic side down) immediately after bathing.
  • Panoramic sauna in red cedar wood
    • Maximum capacity: 6 people
    • Must be switched off after use (instructions will be given to you by the site manager during the entry visit).
    • Do not pour water over the heating elements / hot stones
    • Removing jewelry: Remove all jewelry before entering the sauna to avoid burns.
    • Contraindications:
      • Heart problems: People with heart problems or high blood pressure should consult their doctor before using a sauna. Heat can increase heart rate and blood pressure, which can be dangerous for people with these conditions.
      • Pregnancy: Pregnant women should avoid the sauna, especially during the first three months of pregnancy. Exposure to heat may increase the risk of complications and birth defects.
      • Acute illnesses: If you're suffering from an acute illness, such as an infection or inflammation, it's best to avoid the sauna. Heat can aggravate these conditions and delay healing.
      • Dehydration: If you're dehydrated, it's important to rehydrate before entering a sauna. Heat and perspiration can aggravate dehydration, causing dizziness, headaches and nausea.
      • Heat intolerance: Some people may be more sensitive to heat than others. If you suffer from heat intolerance, it's best to consult a physician before using a sauna.
      • Consumption of alcohol or drugs: Avoid using the sauna if you have consumed alcohol or drugs, as this can increase the risk of dehydration and accidents.
    • Always listen to your body and consult a health care professional if you have any concerns or questions about using your sauna... By following these steps and tips, you'll enjoy your outdoor sauna safely and take full advantage of its health benefits.
