Art and Nature at Coupet
Le Coupet - a place where Art and Nature are in constant dialogueLovers of art and land art, we regularly welcome musicians to Le Coupet to compose, or artists who create in-situ works, often using recycled wood, material and other materials.

Lyon-based sculptor and land-artist Marc Averly has created a number of artistic installations in the Coupet clearing, subject to the elements and designed to establish a poetic dialogue between man and nature.

The children's author and illustrator Mathilde Poncet has created a fresco on the chapel wall, a work of art that allows us to feel the sacred bond that unites us with Mother Nature. More generally, Mathilde Poncet's graphic universe is inspired by folklore, legends, animals, mountains and the sky - an enigmatic bestiary where the everyday and the grandiose coexist...

As you stroll along the paths around Le Coupet, you can also discover the astonishing works of art created by our friend and neighbor Gérard Bondier, who carves fantastic totem poles from the trunks of dead spruce trees.
