Introduction to the principles of survival in the wilderness with a specialized nature guide - Includes igloo-building workshop (Inuit or Norwegian technique)

Embark on a journey of discovery through the forests and valleys of the Jura. Great time sharing with the dogs and the Musher!

Cross-country skiing
With over 1,000 km of marked trails for walkers or experienced sportsmen, come and enjoy an idyllic setting for your vacations.
At Les Crozets, just 3 minutes from accommodation, you'll find a small cross-country ski resort, with 18 km of cross-country ski trails and 9 km of snowshoe trails. Equipment rental is available at the start of the pedestrian, snowshoe and ski trails. Volunteers welcome you: http://foyerski.lescrozets.free.fr/
Just 10 minutes by car from Prénovel, a large cross-country ski area forming part of the Grandvaux ski area (200km of Nordic trails!). Equipment rental and ski lessons available).

The small family resort of Les Gentianes (Morbier) is 35 minutes from the Gîte, Bellefontaine is also 35 minutes away (ideal for half-day trips), the large Les Rousses ski area is 45 minutes away, Monts Jura is 55 minutes and Métabief is 1h10 away.

The sled in front of the accommodation
Practice on site, under adult supervision. The meadow opposite accommodation has a good gradient, so there's plenty of fun to be had while staying safe!
There are also safe, groomed tobogganing areas for young and old in the communes of Les Crozets (5 minutes away), Prénovel, Saint-Laurent en Grandvaux, Lac des Rouges Truites... And a new feature in Grandvaux: "Snowtubing".
